Obama plans to ram his Obamacare through, despite America; Approval ratings tank again.
Word began seeping out this week that notwithstanding the lack of public support for his and his fellow progressives’ government takeover of “health care”, President Obama was going to try to ram it through anyway. Again.
Currently, 39% of voters nationwide favor the health care plan proposed by the President and Congressional Democrats. Fifty-eight percent (58%) are opposed. Only 35% believe Congress should pass health care reform before the upcoming midterm elections anyway. Fifty-four percent (54%) say Congress should wait until voters select new congressional representatives in November.
So it’s a good time to look at Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking poll to see how America perceives that idea. Turns out they still think it stinks on ice. The last time his ratings were this low was back in December, when the Democratic Senate was preparing to approve its version of the proposed health care legislation, which we now know they did on Christmas Eve, no less, when they knew most Americans would be a little distracted.

Of course this is largely how progressives work. Drip by drip, slowly over time, they get people used to their specious left-wing, progressive, big-nanny-state government ideas. It worked very well in Canada, for example.
